Taste craft beer made by Pálffy Brauerei in the historic Pálffy manor house
Experience something new in the Pálffy manor house, where beer used to be produced, stocked and drawn already in the past. Discover guided tastings of our Pálffy Brauerei craft beer and refresh yourself with quality craft brewery products.
Let us take you around our historic manor house as well as a new modern wing to learn the details of the Pálffy Brauerei beer making process and enjoy a guided tasting.
The tasting includes a tour of our brewhouse, small snacks to neutralise the taste between individual samples and water in jugs. Taste and smell the ingredients that our beer is made of such as malt, hop and yeast. Every tasting participant receives a sensory beer analysis tasting sheet and also some presents. Individual beer samples are introduced in details and various interesting facts from the world of beer making are discussed as well.
The beer tastings take place in the Hostinec Palatín restaurant in winter and in the courtyard of the Pálffy manor house next to the PaB brewery in summer (or in the Hostinec Palatín restaurant in bad weather).

Choose between two kinds of our CRAFT BEER TOURS:
- THE FLAVOURS OF THE MONARCHY (3 SAMPLE TASTING)
A tour of the Pálffy Brauerei brewhouse including an explanation, small snacks and tasting of 3 beer samples.
Duration: about 60 – 90 min. (based on the number of people)
Present – a bottle of beer of one’s choice or 0.4 l of draught beer from the beer menu
The tour costs 17€/person.
- THE FLAVOURS OF THE MONARCHY (6 SAMPLE TASTING)
A tour of the Pálffy Brauerei brewhouse including an explanation, small snacks and tasting of 6 beer samples.
Duration: about 60 – 90 min. (based on the number of people)
Presents – a bottle of beer of one’s choice or 0.4 l of draught beer from the beer menu, printed material, 2 original beer mats, 1 crown cap
The tour costs 25€/person.
When can the tours be booked?
- Thursday – Sunday between 1:00pm and 8:00pm
- Tuesday – Wednesday and other times have to be arranged with the Hostinec Palatín restaurant and are subject to availability.
The tour times can be adjusted to other events organised at the Pálffy manor house.
English tour commentary can be arranged for foreign clients on demand.
